An exhibit of nature and wildlife photography to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is commonly called Lou Gehrig's disease

ALS is devastating financial burden to the PALS and his family. Each stage of the progressive disease encounters new challenges and adaptations that can be expensive. Aside from the cost of the needed medications to control the symptoms of the disease, each patient must bear the cost of the assistive devices needed maintain quality of life. In the later stages of the disease, personal care is needed around the clock that can cost as much as $100,000 per year per patient.
