An exhibit of nature and wildlife photography to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is commonly called Lou Gehrig's disease

One of the best assets for maintaining quality of life and managing the symptoms of ALS is at a clinic dedicated to treating the disease. Fortunately Charlotte has a world-class facility at the Carolinas Neurological/ALS MDA Center. Proximity allows short travel times to quarterly Clinics where a team of health care professionals can evaluate and treat the patient. All too often a PALS can feel alone as they are confronted with this devastating and life changing illness. Enrollment at the Clinic also provides the opportunity to meet other patients at various stages of the disease as well as competent care.
